Shelley , who has an Associate of Science Degree with a major in Individual Studies from Jamestown Community College, is a long time member of First Church, ordained Deacon and Elder, and also served as member and moderator of numerous committees, as well as a youth group advisor, Sunday School teacher,and Sunday School superintendent. She has also seved as Interim Director of Christian Education twice in the past (1986-87 and 1990-91)
