We here at First Church have made a commitment to the youth of this community. We offer a safe welcoming environment for youth in grades 6th through 12 grade. Youth in grades 6 through 12 are currently meeting together.   Youth in grades 6th and 9th join the groups in June so they have the summer to make new friends and develop a support system by the time they start their new school. We have found that this helps the youth transition into their new setting more smoothly when they have positive friendships.

   Also, First Presbyterian Church holds  a "Thursday After School" program for children in pre-kindergarten through grade 5 each week school is in session from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.  This group comes together to enjoy singing with a Youth Choir (4:00 to 4:45) and crafts, Bible stories, games, and healthy snacks.  Children may ride the school bus (Lizard) to the church and parents are responsible for picking children up at 5:30.
